The Young Families ministry is a very important part of what we are trying to achieve at Spicer. We presently have about 40 families with children from babies to near teens who are part of our worshipping community. We welcome new families every week.
We concentrate on the involvement of all members of young families in the whole curriculum of church life.
The focus of the Young Families ministry is to ensure that every member of every family we come into contact with is made welcome and can be involved in everything that is going on.
We run social functions for families, and the occasional function for parents (we try to arrange child minding for those!). As well as that, we try to ensure that the general church programme is attractive to, helpful for, and open to, families.
