Our playgroup started in October 1992, with a service to both the families of the church and also to families with small children living within the community.

Please understand you are under no obligation to have any church affiliation to be a member of the playgroup. However, an invitation is always extended to you to come to any of the other activities organised by the church. Our Minister is always available to you.

With voluntary help, we have provided the facilities and equipment needed, including construction of the playgroup fence, and have kept the fees as low as possible so that ALL can afford to come. If parents would like to make donations or engage in fund raising they are welcome to do so, but the church has the playgroup firmly placed in its Outreach services.

An overall coordinator is appointed from the Spicer Staff Team and is responsible for the administration, communications, setting-up, ordering of supplies and assessing needs in consultation with the parents. A church representative from the parents and a parent liaison person for the playgroup session also help in general communication and support.
